In the picture are connected only 8 of the 14 possible servo motors. Centre line in the 3 position strip is the Vcc
motor surge, so if the inversion happens no damage will result for both board or
servo motor. There is a kind of hardware inversion protection.
The crystal can be mounted in a base to ensure the exchangeable for a model with other frequency, in the same way the two resonator capacitors.
- crystal 4Mhz -> capacitor 22pF
- crystal 20Mhz -> capacitor 18pF

The circuit diagram is very basic and essential, there aren’t mysterious things, or much special except maybe only the solution resistance and double-1N4148 diode to pin MCLR.
There are 2 ways to flash a PIC:
- by ICSP.
- via serial cable used preloaded bootloader.
